OVERALL MISSION:
Ensure completion of mechanical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability. Embrace preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement. Manage and motivate his team, ensure co-ordination and co-operation between his and other departments.
METHODS / TOOLS:
- CMMS (Maximo)
- Maintenance budget
- Maintenance inspections and job plans.
- Methods and tools for Safety management
- Root Cause Analysis
Qualifications:
PROFILE OF NECESSARY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
· Technical Engineer or Superior Technician in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years of experience as method engineering or mechanical inspector/planner
· Vocational training + 5 years experience of mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment. Experience as electrical inspector/planner or foremen is highly desirable
· 8/10 years experience in maintenance is required to be fully operational
Technical skills:
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance operations
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits
- Knowledge of gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, non destructive tests and general mechanics.
- Local Safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of quality management methods (ISO 9002)
- Knowledge of cement process is desirable.
